The Sheridan High School We the People team won the State finals competition on Feb. 6 in Laramie Wyo. The Sheridan High School team was against Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Glenrock, Jackson, and Laramie to win the state championship. Now that the team has won the state title they will advance to Washington D.C. on April 22-24 to compete at Nationals. Last year’s We the People team also advanced to Washington and ended up winning a national award and a unit got national recognition. This year’s team has high hopes to keep the momentum going from last year and to do well at the national competition.
