The Lady Broncs completed the East/West basketball tournament in Riverton this past weekend. The Lady Broncs went 3-0, bringing their record to 10-0.
“I thought we played very well. We started off kinda rusty but we finished strong,” said Head Coach Sean Yeager. The Lady Broncs defeated the Kelly Walsh Lady Trojans on Thursday Night 47-26. “It has been a while since we have seen Kelly, but they always give us a great game,” said Yeager.
On Friday Evening the Lady Broncs beat the Lady Red Devils of Evanston 39-23. “We always seem to have trouble with Evanston no matter how either team is doing that year, but we were able to pull it off this year,” said Yeager. To finish the tournament the Lady Broncs beat the homestanding Lady Wolverines of Riverton 64-22. “They had all their players this time, and that made it a pretty good game,” said Yeager.
The Lady Broncs will play at home this Friday against the Billings West Lady Bears, and move to Casper to play the Natrona County Lady Fillies on Saturday afternoon.
