Taking the number one seat in the Eastern Conference, the SHS Lady Broncs continue to win. The Lady Broncs defeated the Cheyenne Central Lady Indians on Friday evening 57-35, and the Cheyenne East Lady T-birds on Saturday afternoon 53-45. “Its always nice to win conference games on the road,” said Head Coach Sean Yeager. Freshmen Robbi Ryan lead the scoring for the Lady Broncs with 17. Following close behind her was senior Mali Wright with 15, and sophomore Emily Julian with 9, “I thought the weekend went super well for us, it was a lot of fun, and we really came together as a family,” said senior Hailey Ligocki. “We had really good enthusiasm on the floor and from the bench,” said junior Molly Ligocki.
The game against Gillette has always been a tradition in Sheridan. It is very important that fans follow the basketball teams for an intense rivalry game. This year the games have changed and the girls and boys will play one after another for the first time in Bronc’s history.
The Lady Broncs will take on the Lady Camels of Gillette this Friday at 5:30 in Gillette.
