SHS welcomes students with completed entrance
On Nov. 25, Sheridan High School students returned home from the weekend to find the long-awaited entrance completed. Construction on the entrance began during the summer of 2013 and extended through the first few months of school.
The new entrance features an office to monitor who comes in and out of the school during classes. After first period begins, the main doors will  automatically lock, and any visitors will have to check in at the front desk in order to enter. Doors will unlock briefly for lunch, then lock automatically once fifth period begins.
